Schreyer Honors College Student Council Executive Committee
The Schreyer Honors College Student Council exists to provide a link between the students, faculty, and alumni of the Schreyer Honors College. The Student Council offers a variety of outreach programs for new and prospective students as well as current Scholars. Scholars Day, SHO Time, Schreyer Honors Orientation, and Take Your Professor to Coffee are just a few examples of events planned and facilitated by Student Council members.
Scholar Assistant Team
Scholar Assistants are chosen to organize intellectually stimulating seminars and events to encourage out-of-classroom learning within the broader University setting. Scholar Assistants work to establish and build community among students, faculty and administrators. This team of four also serves as student advocates and information sources for Schreyer Scholars. SHO TIME Orientation Lead Mentor
The Lead Mentor position is an integral part of the success of SHO TIME, the Schreyer Honors Orientation for new Scholars. Scholars can establish and strengthen relationships that will impact the rest of their life. The Scholar in this position has an opportunity to connect with the Schreyer Honors College community in new and different ways. The Lead Mentor’s achievements can augment a resume and serve as a showpiece for leadership and organizational skills. The lead mentor can learn more about important issues such as ethics, diversity, health & wellness, conflict resolution, and service learning. This position is an opportunity to stand out from all the rest and to discover who you are and what you can do. Applications are due in the fall.
