Step 7: How To Defer Graduation With Honors
Students may defer graduation with honors to the following semester. If you need to defer your graduation with honors in order to complete the honors thesis, you may do so without registering for any courses or paying any tuition for the following semester. You will simply need to enroll for graduation only for your intended semester of graduation.
To defer your graduation with honors:
- Contact Roberta Hardin to update your Schreyer Honors College records
- Contact your academic college to have your name removed from the current graduation list
- Activate your intent to graduate at the beginning of your new semester of graduation
- If you are not registered for any courses during your new semester of graduation, you will need to enroll for graduation only (there is no cost to do so). Contact your academic college Dean's office to do this.
