Step 1: Notifying the Schreyer Honors College of Your Intent To Graduate

How do I notify the Schreyer Honors College that I intend to graduate?

1. Indicate your intended semester of graduation by completing a Thesis Proposal Report

The thesis proposal report is due one year prior to your intended semester of graduation. If you have not already completed one, please visit the SHC online forms page at https://forms.shc.psu.edu/.
The Thesis Proposal Report is used to:
- Notify the Schreyer Honors College of your intended semester and year of graduation.
- Notify the Schreyer Honors College of your intended area(s) of honors
- Notify the Schreyer Honors College of the faculty members with whom you will be working
- Order your honors diploma when you graduate

2. Contact Roberta Hardin, Coordinator of Student Records (rhh1@psu.edu)

3. Make sure that both your local and home addresses are up to date so that you receive all graduation mailings from the Schreyer Honors College and Penn State. You can update your address at any time via eLion (https://elion.oas.psu.edu/).
