Honors Courses
As a Schreyer Scholar, you’ll take 32 credits of honors courses before you graduate. Some of these courses may fulfill requirements for your major. Others may be in an area that taps into your creativity, furthers your understanding of the world in which we live, and transforms your curiosity into a vibrant pursuit of knowledge and engagement.
These are the courses that will challenge you, the ones that will ignite your passion for learning, the ones you’ll talk about, and the ones in which you’ll carry what you’ve learned forward for life.
They’re courses that you’ll choose and, this being Penn State, you’ll have a lot of choices. The Schreyer Honors College offers more than 250 honors courses each year that encompass the disciplines within Penn State’s 11 academic colleges.
